Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Temporary Employment Services role in Irvine to support undergraduate student services, degree guidance, and front desk operations. The position focuses on assisting students with degree requirements, registration, and policy navigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in undergraduate student affairs or higher education academic support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on student-centered service.
• Ability to pass FERPA compliance training upon hire and maintain strict student data privacy.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Guide undergraduate students on degree requirements, course registration, and policy navigation.
• Review student records and clear degree requirements using Degree Works.
• Manage the department inbox to deliver timely, accurate responses to undergraduate inquiries.
• Provide general event support and cover the front desk as needed to maintain daily office operations.
