Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in Mobile, AL to guide store operations and lead a team during peak periods. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will supervise front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and safety, while stepping in as Manager on Duty as needed.

The role emphasizes training crew on the Five Below customer experience, improving checkout speed and guest satisfaction, and ensuring daily tasks are executed efficiently to drive sales and maintain a WOW store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew provide WOW customer service at every interaction.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experience and quick checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure tasks are performed well.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for fast floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance and safety tasks as needed.
