Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to ensure an outstanding shopping experience. You report to the Store Manager and assist with front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and driving sales. You may assume Manager On Duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.

This temporary role provides leadership exposure in a fast-paced retail setting, with opportunities to collaborate with the store leadership team and gain valuable supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensure performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty during shifts, with store operations and staff management responsibility.
• Open or close the store, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
