Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help drive a top-notch shopping experience at our Trussville, AL location. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead front-end operations, assist with cash handling, merchandising, safety, and day-to-day store activities.

This temporary role offers hands-on leadership during peak seasons, including training new associates, managing shift coverage, and stepping in as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service excellence.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Acts as Manager on Duty during shifts and manages store operations.
• Opens/closes the store, securing cash and setting alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and operations.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety commitments.
