Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years work experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility or related role.
• Relevant experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency using computers and electronics equipment; Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operational procedures, ensuring a cost-effective, safe, welcoming and clean environment.
• Engage with Center visitors; troubleshoot issues; may direct and manage vendors.
• Maintain Center operations within budget; monitor inventory and handle cash; provide data for reports.
• Create and maintain a Standard Operating Procedure file for local operations and activities.
• Assist in planning and overseeing programs, logistics, inventory management, budget, social media and database management.
• Coordinate communications for announcements, social media, and local media; ensure content follows USO guidelines.
• Support planning and evaluation of programs and events on and off installations; coordinate resources.
• Develop relationships with military, community leaders, partners and donors to support programs.
