USO Dover seeks a Center Operations Coordinator to support Center operations, deliver engaging programs and events, and help maintain a welcoming, well-managed environment for troops and visitors.

You will assist with tours, classes, and services, coordinate volunteers, and help with communications and reporting. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years experience in admin, event mgmt, marketing support, retail, customer service or related role.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Punctual, organized, self-motivated with initiative.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and work in a team.
• Proficient in written and oral communications.
• General knowledge of military community preferred.
• Ability to handle cash/donations and reporting procedures.
• Ability to obtain/maintain credentials to access USO centers.

Responsabilidades

• Meet and welcome guests, orient them to the Center and its offerings, and provide high-quality customer service.
• Assist with procedures: opening/closing, key control, Emergency Preparedness Plan compliance, safety and security.
• Monitor center readiness, cleanliness, and equipment operability; manage inventory.
• Plan and execute programs and events, ensuring volunteer coverage and program delivery.
• Create awareness: flyers/posters; manage center social media per USO guidelines.
• Answer calls, respond to emails, produce and maintain reports.
