Job summary

United Service Organizations, Inc. (USO) Fort Wainwright, AK, is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to run day-to-day operations, deliver customer service, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for service members and their families.

You will manage programs and events, coordinate volunteers, assist with budget and inventory, and collaborate with military and community partners to advance USO missions and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities essential.
• Proficiency with computers and standard software.
• Experience coordinating programs, events, or volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily Center operations to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Engage visitors and serve as subject matter expert about Center amenities and services.
• Assist with planning and executing programs, events, and family activities; coordinate volunteers.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budget reporting and financial tracking.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for local operations and activities.
