Rockland Trust is seeking a Teller Trainee to join our branch network and support daily customer engagements across New England. You will learn banking products, process routine transactions, and help build lasting relationships with customers.

You’ll greet clients, answer questions, and guide them to the right specialist while delivering accurate deposits, withdrawals, and payments. This role emphasizes training, teamwork, and a culture of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable using technology to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service‑oriented personality with professional appearance.
• Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
• Will require long periods of standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible weeks, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make the first impression to customers entering the branch and guide them to the right colleague.
• Engage in constant customer support with efficient, courteous service in person and by phone.
• Provide information on Rockland Trust products tailored to customers’ needs.
• Perform accurate deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks and other transactions.
• Make decisions with supervisor as knowledge grows and learn through Rockland Trust’s Teller Training.
• Collaborate with training and branch teams to complete required training.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
