Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Comfort with technology and computers to support business goals.
• Sales and service orientation are key to customer interactions.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude are important.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must complete Rockland Trust training program.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them to the appropriate colleague.
• Provide courteous, helpful service in person and by phone.
• Explain Rockland Trust products and services to meet customer needs.
• Handle routine transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks).
• Make decisions with supervision as knowledge grows, and collaborate with training staff.
• Participate in the Teller Training program and ongoing branch activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
