Job summary

PNC is seeking a Teller Lead to join our Central New Jersey team based in Marlboro, NJ. This in-office role focuses on coaching tellers, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving financial wellbeing for customers while growing branch performance.

The position emphasizes leadership, adherence to policies, and collaboration with branch staff. No visa sponsorship is offered; base salary ranges from $45,000 to $75,000 and incentive eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• No university/college degree required; high school diploma or GED acceptable with related experience.
• Experience in customer service or banking preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example in identifying opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example in performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers with clear communication skills, transaction handling and problem resolution processes.
• Assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
