Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union in Burlington, MA is seeking a part-time teller to process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing with accuracy. You will assist with end-of-day balancing and help members achieve their financial goals by explaining DCU products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Verbal communication skills.
• Technical skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process all teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing; assist with end of day balancing.
• Explain and resolve member requests; provide product information.
• Achieve referral goals by identifying member needs and cross-selling products.
• Follow all DCU policies and procedures, including security and fraud risk guidelines.
• May cover other DCU areas as needed (branches, Information Center, or support departments).
• Suggest efficiency and process improvements where applicable.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
