Job summary

First Tech is seeking a friendly teller in Andover, MA to deliver service excellence while handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing. You will balance cash at day end and help members achieve their financial goals.

In this role you will learn DCU products, cross-sell appropriate services, and follow security guidelines to protect members and the credit union. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling experience required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Verbal communication skills required.
• Technical skills with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing.
• Assist with end of day balancing.
• Explain DCU products and services and complete member requests.
• Achieve referral goals by identifying member needs and cross-selling appropriate products.
• Adhere to DCU policies and security guidelines to limit risk.
• Provide coverage in other DCU areas as needed.
• Suggest efficiency and process improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
