Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG to drive B2C sales for training classes and Store products. You will handle inbound calls, consult on needs, and close sales while documenting in Salesforce. Strong communication, a year of sales in a call center, and multitasking in fast-paced environments are essential.

The role offers an hourly wage with commission, no relocation, and a pathway to contribute significantly to revenue targets in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience within a Call Center.
• Ability to effectively multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong Influence and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Proficient written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training classes or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and Red Cross retail product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Accurately document and update all cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Red Cross Store retail products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations of Store product orders.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Aim to attain Training revenue of $325K and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
