Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG to handle inbound calls, consult on training needs, and sell Red Cross classes and Store products. You will process payments, document interactions in Salesforce, and pursue revenue targets with strong customer-focused service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales in a call center, solid MS Office and CRM skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED certificate - higher education a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience within a Call Center (does not have to be B2C).
• Ability to effectively multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in Red Cross courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover training and retail needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders in Sales systems.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Manage returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy.
• Answer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Aim for Training revenue of $325K/year and Retail revenue of $80K/year.
