The American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist in Maryland to sell community training classes and Store products. You will handle inbound calls, assess customer needs, and guide them to the best training options and related products.

Role involves processing payments, updating Salesforce records, and striving to meet annual training and retail revenue goals; a commission-based incentive accompanies an hourly base wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience within a Call Center.
• Ability to effectively multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Proven consumer sales skills; product sales experience a plus.
• Good organizational skills and time management.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and retail product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products.
• Process payments and place orders through Sales systems.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy
• Address customer questions about classes or products
• Aim to achieve Training revenue of $325K/year and Retail revenue of $80K/year
