Job summary

The American Red Cross in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Telesales Specialist to sell training classes and Store products via inbound calls. You’ll act as a consultant to uncover customer needs, recommend classes, and process orders using Salesforce and other systems.

We offer an hourly wage of $16.15 with a commission plan and no annual bonus. This role centers on achieving revenue targets for Training and Retail, with benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience within a call center.
• Ability to multitask across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or store products.
• Uncover customer training and retail product needs as a consultant.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and store products.
• Process orders and credit card transactions through sales systems.
• Document case information in Salesforce.
• Upsell store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy.
• Achieve training revenue of $325K and retail revenue of $80K yearly.
