Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician to support field services, performing remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability tasks at customer sites in Ventura County, CA.

You will work largely independently under the Field Service Manager, with potential for overtime and travel to various sites, including government-like facilities, while ensuring service excellence and timely updates on service calls.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office, and related software.
• Knowledge of telephony and networking wiring (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador for ViaPath and demonstrate service excellence.
• Perform on-site service of ViaPath products at customer sites.
• Pull cables, install telephony hardware, and replace network components.
• Troubleshoot tablets, Wi-Fi, and video visitation issues with guidance.
• Overtime and travel to customer sites expected.
