Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 2 (Site Admin Technician 2) to join the Field Services team. Under the direction of the Field Service Manager, you will perform remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services at customer sites.

You will replace telephony hardware, pull cables, install devices, and administer kiosk service and collections across an assigned territory, with travel required and occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related experience in field service.
• Experience troubleshooting and data collection to diagnose problems.
• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office; telephony and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ambassador for ViaPath with customers and clients.
• Responsible for overall service of ViaPath products at assigned sites.
• Prioritize and plan assigned service calls.
• Communicate updates on service calls and escalate when needed.
• Interact professionally to foster positive relationships.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; basic maintenance.
• Pull cables, mount devices, install telephony hardware.
• Administer kiosk service and collections at financial institutions.
• Basic troubleshooting and support for deployed hardware/software.
• Handle special projects as assigned; overtime and callouts may occur.
