Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 to join the Field Services team. Based at the client site with travel to other sites as needed, you will repair, maintain, and improve system reliability across assigned territories.

You will act as a professional ambassador for ViaPath, owning service activities from installation to troubleshooting and customer coordination. The role requires hands-on hardware wiring, telephony, and networking support, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, and other software programs that may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive ambassador for ViaPath with customers and clients.
• Provide service for ViaPath products at assigned customer sites and assist customers as needed.
• Plan and prioritize assigned service calls and communicate updates.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cables and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service and collections; handle deposits at financial institutions.
• Troubleshoot basic tablet functionality and Wi-Fi connectivity; assist Technical Support as needed.
• Return damaged or inoperable equipment per RMAs.
