Job summary

BECU in the United States seeks a Manager Technology to lead engineering teams delivering member-facing software across origination, credit, deposits, and business banking. You will drive modernization, maintain architectural credibility, and mentor engineers while aligning priorities with business goals.

You will engage with product, data, API, and architecture teams to shape roadmaps, promote Agile practices, and responsibly adopt AI in collaboration with senior technology leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 1+ year of experience leading technology teams.
• 4 years of IT experience with hands-on full stack design and development (Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, Node.js).

Responsibilities

• Lead software development for member-facing applications across origination, credit, deposits, and business banking.
• Guide high-impact initiatives like Credit Line Increase and Retail MAX.
• Grow and coach engineering talent, set clear expectations, and foster Agile discipline.
