Zusammenfassung

BECU is seeking a Manager Technology to lead engineering teams delivering member-facing software across origination, deposits, and banking services. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure strong Agile practices and AI adoption where appropriate.

You will collaborate with Product and business partners to align roadmaps with business goals, manage priorities, and deliver high-impact solutions while maintaining security and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading technology teams.
• 4 years of IT experience with full stack application design, including Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Desired qualifications include ERP, Infrastructure/Operations, or financial product experience.

• Lead Technology Delivery: manage software developers, contractors, and partners delivering member-facing apps.
• Guide high-impact initiatives like Credit Line Increase and Retail MAX with planning and structure.
• Lead and grow engineering talent: coach, mentor, and develop team members with clear expectations.
• Stay technically connected: engage with architecture, APIs, and code-level issues to guide solutions.
• Create clarity and focus: translate demand into commitments and protect Agile/Scrum teams.
• Advance engineering practices: improve CD/CI, testing, and automation across lifecycle.
• Drive modernization and AI adoption: identify practical AI uses aligned to business objectives.
• Shape roadmaps: contribute to roadmaps with business partners and leadership.
• Build cross-functional partnerships: collaborate with Product, Data, API, architecture, and vendors.
• Communicate with confidence: provide updates to senior leaders on delivery and priorities.
