Job summary

Travelers in New York seeks an Account Executive Officer, Technology to manage profitable book, negotiate complex accounts, and build broker relationships. You will partner with agents and brokers to market Travelers products, write new business, and renew existing accounts aligned with risk appetite.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years underwriting experience in commercial lines, a CPCU designation, and strong communication and analytical skills. Some travel to meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products and regulatory environment.
• CPCU designation.
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans.
• Meet agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products; travel as required.
• Develop agency sales plans with MD guidance; identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• May assist in training less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
