The Travelers Indemnity Company in Chicago, IL is seeking an Account Executive Officer for National Accounts. You will partner with agents, brokers and customers to provide guaranteed cost and loss sensitive coverage for new and renewal business, assessing complex risk and driving profitability.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 6–8 years underwriting experience in National Accounts, deep knowledge of loss sensitive products and CPCU designation. Travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience with National Accounts.
• Deep knowledge of loss sensitive products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market.
• Deep financial acumen.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making in underwriting, marketing or financial challenges.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.
• CPCU designation.

Mansioni

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with agents, brokers, and customers to market and sell Travelers products; travel as needed.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with MD collaboration.
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
