Job summary

Touchmark, LLC is hiring a Building Services Technician to maintain buildings and equipment, keep common areas pristine, and respond quickly to maintenance requests. You will work on-site in a community setting, with a focus on safety, comfort, and resident well-being.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and pass a drug screen. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance in a community setting a plus.
• Basic knowledge of appliances, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and equipment to ensure safe operation.

As a Building Services Technician, your role is essential in enriching the lives of our community members. You will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings and equipment are in good condition and operating efficiently. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of grounds and common areas. Your dedication and high energy towards your work will allow residents to feel at ease, knowing that their homes and surroundings are in safe hands. You will also be expected to respond promptly to any maintenance requests.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with general maintenance in a community setting; previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus
• Have basic knowledge of appliances, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and repair
• Have knowledge and experience working with technology such as smartphones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs, and personal computers.
• Ability to work with vendors
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Have working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems
• Have the ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property
• Physical work is a primary part of this role
• Be available for a rotating on-call shift
• Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a drug screening
