Job summary

Touchmark at The Ranch in Prescott, AZ, a premier full-service retirement community, is hiring for a full-time maintenance role. You will help keep homes and common areas well maintained, assist with grounds, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The position requires an on-call schedule, a high school diploma, and knowledge of basic appliances, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. A valid driver’s license and AZ fingerprint clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Be committed to customer satisfaction.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to work an on-call rotation, including evenings/weekends.
• Experience with general maintenance in a community setting; health care experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of appliances, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical maintenance/repair.
• Familiar with smartphones, tablets, remotes, TVs and PCs.
• Ability to schedule and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Working knowledge of business software and MS Windows.
• Ability to move quickly around the property.
• Physical work is a primary part of this role.
• Must read/write/speak English clearly.
• Maintains composure with residents, families and staff.
• Valid Driver License.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance preferred.

• Have experience with general maintenance in a community setting; previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus

• Have knowledge and experience working with technology such as smart phones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs and personal computers.
• Ability to work with, schedule and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Have working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems
• Have the ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property
• Physical work is a primary part of this role
• Be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Valid Driver License
• Possess or willing to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
