Job summary

BD in the United States seeks a Technical Support Specialist 2 to help resolve complex, time-sensitive issues across the ES 1.1x upgrade. You will handle escalations, remote troubleshooting, and coordinate with field service teams to ensure timely resolution.

The role requires solid SQL skills, Windows Server and IT environment familiarity, and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences. This is a limited-term assignment through June 2028 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience; ability to write queries and analyze SQL data.
• SSIS exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topics including DNS/DHCP; IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Active Directory Administration; VMware terminology and administration.
• Understanding of XML language; ability to review application and OS logs; Wireshark experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, time-sensitive issues including escalations and site downtime.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and coordination.
• Provide CSC support to internal peers related to ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot and support effectively.
• Document case notes thoroughly and provide progress updates to customers.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements specific to ES 1.1x remediation efforts.
