Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues and support ES 1.1x upgrades. You will work cross-functionally, handling escalations, diagnosing technical problems, and documenting case notes for internal peers.

The role requires strong SQL, Windows Server/AD, and networking skills, plus the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. On-site presence in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience.
• Ability to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT/JOIN).
• SSIS exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
• Windows Server and Desktop Administration ervaring.
• Networking concepts including DNS/DHCP/LAN/WAN.
• IIS, Active Directory, and VMware administration.
• Experience with peripherals installation and troubleshooting.
• CompTIA A+ or N+ preferred.
• XML, log review, and Wireshark experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues and escalations.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely support.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x remediation efforts.
• Troubleshoot and document cases with high data quality.
• Provide updates to customers and ensure needs are met.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and calendars.
