Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 for a limited-term assignment through June 2028. The role focuses on resolving complex, time-sensitive issues related to ES 1.1x upgrades, with emphasis on collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong product and pharmacy workflow knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have SQL experience, Windows OS expertise, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience including writing queries.
• Exposure to SSIS and SQL Reporting Services helpful.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and desktop administration.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, time-sensitive issues including customer escalations and outages.
• Coordinate with ES 1.1x upgrade teams for timely support.
• Document case notes clearly and maintain data integrity (Salesforce).
• Provide updates to customers and capture feedback to improve service.
• Identify trends and contribute to knowledge bases for ES 1.1x remediation.
