Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 for a limited-term assignment through June 2028, supporting ES 1.1x upgrade efforts. The role focuses on resolving time-sensitive technical issues, coordinating with ES upgrade teams, and maintaining regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality customer support.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong SQL and Windows/AD skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN statements) within complex database structures.
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Active Directory Administration.
• VMWare Terminology and Administration.
• CompTIA A+ or N+ preferred.
• XML language knowledge (1+ years).
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Wireshark (1+ Years).

Responsibilities

• Provide CSC support to internal peers related to ES 1.1x upgrade and implementation.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and coordination of support.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements specific to ES 1.1x remediation efforts.
• Resolve cases and escalations promptly in a dynamic upgrade environment.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Maintain high data quality and integrity in Salesforce.
• Communicate with customers, provide progress updates and seek feedback.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
