Job summary
Convergint is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to drive and manage the technical and evaluation stages of the sales cycle. You will work with the Account Executive as the key technical advisor, delivering world-class service and growing with the company.
The role emphasizes analyzing project requirements, preparing estimates, and articulating value for CTC products and services. Excellent collaboration with sales and project teams is essential.
Qualifications
- Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
- Minimum experience: 1-3 years sales engineering or estimating.
- Salary range provided: $66,400–$75,000.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes plans, specifications, and site visits to determine overall project requirements.
- Prepares estimates and quotes for projects using estimation software and responds to RFIs/RFPs.
- Articulates the value proposition of products and services to the customer.
- Prepares shop drawings and wiring diagrams to support contracts.
- Advises sales and project teams on required products and lead times.
- Develops customer implementation plans with the sales team.
- May generate incremental new business for the territory.
