Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Sales Support Estimator to drive and manage the technology and evaluation stage of the sales process. You will serve as the key technical advisor alongside the Account Executive and help design, estimate, and coordinate complex installed solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in sales engineering, estimating or related field.
• Knowledge of building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and document moderately complex installed solutions based on project requirements, plans, functional specifications, site conditions, and customer needs.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and quotes using approved estimating tools, and support customer requests for information, including RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with Sales Professionals to understand customer requirements, develop cost-effective solutions, and clearly communicate the value of Convergint products and services.
• Coordinate with colleagues, vendors, consultants, and AHJs throughout the estimating and design process to ensure technical and project requirements are addressed.
• Prepare and/or review formal submittal packages, including schematics, product data, and technical literature, as required to support project contracts.
