Job summary

Trane Technologies invites engineering students to join a hands-on summer internship focused on technical sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services for commercial buildings.

We seek actively enrolled undergraduates or graduates in Engineering, with at least sophomore standing, who are U.S. citizens or have work authorization.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Sophomore year completion required before start of internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some roles may be remote or hybrid/onsite across North America.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with mentors.
• Assist sales engineers from start to finish on internship tasks.
• Demonstrate ownership in solution development while collaborating with customers.
