Job summary

Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions, offers a hands-on summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and mentors, exploring the design and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Actively enrolled in an eligible degree, you will build skills in sales, engineering, and leadership during a 12-week program, with potential progression into our Graduate

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the entire internship.
• Preferred fields: Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Open to remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.
• Valid driver’s license with 12+ months of driving history; no major violations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Observe and participate in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish.
• Build relationships with customers as daily point-of-contact.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering
