Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship program focused on Technical Sales, designed to develop engineering, business, sales, leadership and communication skills. You will work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers on HVAC solutions for commercial buildings and gain hands-on experience through diverse project exposure.

The role requires active engineering studies, sophomore-year completion, U.S. work eligibility, and a passion for continuous learning in technical fields.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s engineering program for the full duration of the internship.
• Must have completed at least the sophomore year before start date.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services for buildings.
• Attend meetings, calls and customer visits with mentors.
• Be hands-on in the sales process from start to finish during internship.
• Develop relationships with customers as daily point of contact.
