Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world-leading climate solutions company, offers a 12-week Technical Sales Intern program across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn about design, application and sale of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on experience in service, equipment and building automation.

Actively enrolled in an Engineering bachelor or master's, you will collaborate with mentors, attend meetings, and potentially enter our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license for 12+ months and insurable.
• Some positions may be remote while others may require hybrid or onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Learn the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and assist in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as a day-to-day contact in solution processes.
