Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States invites you to join our summer internship program in Technical Sales, designed to develop your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership and communication skills over 12 weeks.

As an actively enrolled student in a bachelor’s or master’s program (any of the listed fields), you will work with Sales Account Managers, learn design and sale of HVAC systems, attend meetings and gain hands-on experience toward our Graduate Training Program.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout summer internship.
• Preferred fields: Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some roles may be remote, hybrid or onsite; valid driver’s license required.
• No major traffic violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Follow the steps Sales Engineers take from start to finish onsite.
• Engage with customers as daily point-of-contact to build ownership of solutions.
