Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and participate in meetings and customer interactions across North America.

You will gain hands-on experience in service, equipment, and building automation offerings while developing leadership and communication skills for a future career in sales engineering.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Follow through on sales engineering steps from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a trusted daily contact.
