Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales designed to develop your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills.

You will work directly with seasoned Sales Account Managers, learn the design, application, and sale of systems for commercial buildings, and participate in meetings and calls to gain hands-on experience toward our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• Preferred majors include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed at least the sophomore year before the start of the internship to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with industry-leading Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in solution-making.
