Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Intern to gain hands-on experience across North America. You will work alongside seasoned account managers, learn the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, and participate in sales meetings and customer interactions.

This 12-week program develops engineering, business and leadership skills, with potential to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation. On-site internship across North America with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering for the full summer internship.
• Must have completed at least their sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand needs.
• Learn the design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits alongside mentors and teammates.
• Help in sales engineering steps from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact for solutions.
