Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated engineering students to join our 12-week Summer Internship program in Technical Sales. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn system design and applications for commercial and industrial buildings, and engage in customer meetings under mentorship.

The role offers exposure to multiple business areas and a path to the Graduate Training Program after graduation. Open to on-site assignments across North America; some positions may be remote or hybrid.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Sophomore/2nd year completed before start date.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with mentors.
• Support steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as daily contact to drive solution ownership.
