Job summary

Trane Technologies invites engineering students to join a 12‑week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn design and application of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on experience with our building automation offerings.

This program develops your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills, with potential progression to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings and account activities alongside mentors.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
