Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a Hands On Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You’ll work with Sales Account Managers, learn about HVAC design and systems, and gain exposure to the building automation landscape.

This internship develops technical, business, leadership, and communication skills, with potential to join our Graduate Training Program after graduation. On-site options exist.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some positions may be remote while others may be hybrid or onsite across North America.
• Possess a valid driver's license with at least 12 months of ownership and insurance ability.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Observe steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build ownership and problem-solving in the solution-making process.
