Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship program in Technical Sales across North America. The internship develops technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills while exposing you to the full line of HVAC equipment and building management controls.

Participants collaborate with Sales Account Managers, explore design and application processes, and may join the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or have the right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some positions may be remote while others may be hybrid or onsite across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Gain hands-on experience in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish.
• Build relationships with customers as daily points of contact.
