Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a Hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will learn from Sales Account Managers, understand the design and sale of HVAC systems and building controls, and participate in sales meetings and customer interactions.

The program fosters growth through mentorship and a potential path into the Graduate Training Program after graduation, with opportunities for remote, hybrid, or onsite placements.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• A passion for continuous learning in technical fields, and ability to communicate engineering solutions.
• Some positions may be remote, others hybrid or onsite at facilities across North America.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn the sales process.
• Understand design, application, sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with mentors.
• Assist engineers through steps from start to finish on a project during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact in solution development.
