Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a Hands-On Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.

The 12-week program is designed to develop your technical, business, and leadership skills, with opportunities to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation and pursue a meaningful career in a global leader in climate solutions.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• Candidates must have completed at least their sophomore year before the start of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Observe the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on in the internship.
