Job summary

Johnson Controls is launching an Accelerated Commercial Excellence (ACE) program for early-career graduates. The 18‑month initiative trains you in product and channel sales across multiple units, starting in Milwaukee’s HQ and culminating in a field sales role in the Southeast region.

As a participant, you will receive hands-on customer experience, instructor-led training and mentorship to build technical and sales acumen, with monthly reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant engineering field.
• Recent graduate or undergraduate senior expecting to graduate around June 2027.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Complete all ACE foundational sales training.
• Establish monthly cadence with Area Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers for development progress.
• Provide technical and commercial aid to FD outside sales personnel and customers using internal tools.
• Assist sales team with CRM opportunity pipeline management and account hygiene.
• Create, analyze and customize sales reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
• Promote the Solution Navigator self-ordering customer portal and report feedback.
• Develop internal relationships and enable cross-department collaboration with sales specialists, tech support reps, marketing coordinators, inside sales reps.
• Develop customer relationships with managed accounts to generate new business opportunities and report feedback.
• Travel to manufacturing plants, R&D facilities and customer locations for live training and sales shadowing.
