Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is launching the ACE Program, an 18‑month sales development track designed to transform recent graduates into channel or product sales professionals.

You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to multiple business units, starting in Milwaukee and transitioning to designated bases after six months. The program emphasizes technical sales, CRM utilization, and PowerBI analysis, with opportunities across Fire Suppression product subgroups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or Business Degree highly preferred).
• Recent graduate or undergraduate senior expecting to graduate between Apr 2027 – Jun 2027. Program starts in Jun 2027.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Must be able to be in Milwaukee, WI (Glendale WI) for the first six months of the program, then relocate to one of the predetermined permanent bases (California).
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required ACE foundational sales training.
• Provide technical and commercial aid to FSP outside sales personnel and customers.
• Assist sales team with opportunity pipeline management and account information updates in CRM tool.
• Support customers’ RFIs and RFPs.
• Develop relationships with customer service agents, tech service specialists, supply chain managers and commercial operations teams.
• Develop customer relationships to generate new business opportunities and support growth initiatives.
• Provide problem-solving assistance to customers for issues like orders, pricing, and product selection.
• Attend training sessions to build product knowledge and sales process expertise.
• Prepare and lead customer-facing product presentations as SME.
• Analyze sales reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
• Promote the online ordering portal and report feedback.
• Establish monthly cadence with Territory Managers and Regional Sales Managers for progress tracking.
• Travel to manufacturing plants, R&D facilities and customer locations for live training and shadowing.
