NEFF Automation is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive new business in the Rochester/Syracuse area. You will engage with engineers and upper management to match our automation solutions to customer goals, building long-term relationships and a robust sales pipeline.

The role requires proven technical sales experience, prospecting ability, and collaborative teamwork to succeed in a growing, family-owned company with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology with robotics/automation focus.
• Associate degree with 3–5 years of technical sales experience as alternative.
• Proven ability to sell to engineers and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively seek, develop, and win new business within assigned territory (Rochester, Syracuse, or surrounding areas).
• Foster growth by actively calling on existing customers.
• Identify potential customers, focusing on engineers and upper management to uncover opportunities.
• Understand client manufacturing goals to map Neff solutions to needs.
• Develop and execute strategies to generate a consistent pipeline of new opportunities.
