Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC in Houston seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Specialist to grow sales of industrial fasteners. You will drive local opportunities from our Houston Distribution Center and expand across the U.S.

in manufacturing, construction, solar, and related sectors. Responsibilities include strategic account development, consultative selling, and end-to-end order management, with emphasis on technical solutions and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B sales experience in industrial fasteners or closely related products.
• Proven track record in manufacturing, construction, or solar markets is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of fasteners, materials, and applications.
• Ability to prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow strategic accounts with focus on Houston/Texas and local opportunities.
• Act as primary technical and sales contact, building long-term relationships.
• Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored fastener solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable sales.
• Manage end-to-end sales process and coordinate with operations for on-time delivery.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
