Job summary
Talent Solutions Partners in Houston is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Specialist to grow our fasteners portfolio across manufacturing, construction, solar, and related sectors. You will develop strategic accounts in Houston/Texas, build long-term relationships, and provide tailored technical solutions while coordinating with our distribution center.
This role rewards performance with base salary plus commission.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B sales in industrial fasteners.
- Knowledge of fasteners, materials, and applications.
- Proven ability to prospect, present, negotiate, and close complex deals.
- Strong communication and relationship-building with manufacturers and contractors.
- Experience using CRM to manage pipelines and activities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within target industries with a focus on Houston and Texas markets.
- Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored fastener solutions.
- Serve as a technical advisor on fastener specifications, materials, and applications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable sales.
- Oversee end-to-end order management from inquiry to delivery and post-sale support.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
